Cambodia
Cambodia, part of Asia & Oceania, is a popular stop along the Southeast Asia backpacking route, and home to a large ex-pat community. The biggest tourist highlight of the country is the awe-inspiring ancient temples of Angkor Wat, located just outside of Siem Reap.

Hong Kong
Hong Kong is such an exciting, lively and vibrant city, that really lives up to it’s term: “East meets West”. It has a great mix of both Western and Eastern, both when it comes to culture, food, shopping, and architecture. It is a city that has “everything”. On any given day, you can head to a fishing village less than an hour from downtown, lie on a beach and go shopping bonanza in one of the many flashy shopping malls or back-alley markets.

It is also home to a vast range of fauna and flora as well as countless linguistic and ethnic groups, cultures, and incredible landscapes. Japan
Japan is one of my favorite destinations in Asia! It boasts an endless list of attractions, things to do, and places to explore.
Full of contradictions, you’ll find ancient history paired with the newest technology and development. From robot restaurants to ancient temples and cat cafes, there’s something for everyone. And let’s not forget about all of the incredible food and shopping! I’m still dreaming about all the delicious sushi, Soba, and Ramen noodles.

Philippines
The Philippines, home to beautiful beaches, chilled island vibes, an interesting history and some of the most wonderfully kind people. It’s one of the very best places I’ve been to. In fact, I love the Philippines so much that I can’t wait for a return visit They are becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination and the country really has a lot to offer for visitors with over 7000 islands.

South Korea
South Korea is a fascinating country. It has a rich history and offers its visitors everything from the ultra-modern capital city of Seoul to villages like Andong where it seems that time has stood still. The country has countless National Parks, one of them even adjacent to Seoul, where I did some impressive but tiring hikes.
